My heart will always be with the top competitive runners athletes shooting for the top spots and or preparing to be in a position to do so.

That was the heart and soul of the Boston Marathon and why it was founded, excellence is what matters in a competition.

Everything else Boston has become is very secondary to me and uninteresting and unimportant to me.
